Fans of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man became very excited very quickly earlier today when producer Amy Pascal revealed that plans were in place to continue making movies with Marvel Studios and a new trilogy of films was on the way. However, almost immediately, The Hollywood Reporter suggested that Sony insiders believe that this announcement was perhaps a bit premature as there are currently no plans agreed or being discussed for a new trilogy of Spider-Man movies as seemed to be suggested by Pascal when speaking to Fandango.
