How worried should women be about plight of modern men? But in many instances, achieving internet fame—and keeping it—is also about who you know. The latest viral figure suddenly getting multi-million dollar brand deals may just be a nepotism friend, or the best friend of someone who is already famous. The nepo-friend isn’t new (although their perks have changed over time), nor is the discourse on the way nepotism functions in Hollywood and other creative industries.

Winter is coming – and so too are the Ice Castles. The popular frozen attraction will return to Colorado following a two-year hiatus and set up in a new location in Cripple Creek. Construction of the Ice Castles’ famous ice slides, tunnels, towers and crawl spaces will begin in October “in hopes of opening in late December, or early January, depending on the weather,” according to an announcement posted on social media. Tickets will go on sale closer to the opening date.
