A vacant downtown Milwaukee office building at the corner of East Wells and North Milwaukee streets was foreclosed on Feb. 9 and is a likely candidate for demolition, according to the owner. The four-story office at 408 E. Wells St. was built in 1984 for AT&T Wisconsin. The company occupied the entire building until a year ago when AT&T moved the operations to its headquarters building on North Broadway, said Joel Lee, a principal at Milwaukee Wells Building Co.
