Congressman Wants Exemptions, Plans ‘warriors’ Caucus’

Steve Russell said he plans to ask President Donald Trump to include two exemptions in his executive orders suspending entry of citizens from seven nations and other refugees. Russell, who was a soldier during Operation Iraqi Freedom, wants to see an entry exemption for foreigners who worked with the United States armed forces, which could include interpreters or informants from the seven nations listed under the president's ban for entry into the US. “The second exemption would be children who have been horribly burned or lost limbs where only our hospitals can provide the lifesaving care to help them survive,” Russell said.Read more on NewsOK.com
