Constitutional Concerns Over Trump’s D.c. Hotel Lease Were Ignored, Watchdog Says

The General Services Administration failed to determine whether the lease violates the Constitution’s emoluments clauses, which bar presidents from taking payments from foreign governments or individual U.S. states, the agency's inspector general said.
