Cornett, Stitt Back Trump On Immigration

By Chris CasteelMUSKOGEE — Republican gubernatorial candidates Mick Cornett and Kevin Stitt said here Thursday that the nation's borders must be protected and that they would back President Donald Trump on immigration.The two were asked at a Muskogee County Republican forum whether, as governor, they would issue an executive order requiring all state and local law enforcement agencies to enforce federal immigration law.Cornett, the former mayor of Oklahoma City, said, "Well it’s important that we meet the expectations of the Trump administration."And just over a year ago, I went to D.C.
