District modifies plans for Westwood, LA-Addair

Polk County Schools will make an addendum to the plans for the two turnaround middle schools whose plans were not approved by the State Board of Education. Westwood and Lake Alfred-Addair middle schools were the two schools that had plans shot down at an Aug. 31 meeting in St. Augustine. Polk’s three other turnaround middle schools — Boone, Kathleen and Denison — all had plans approved.
