Alright guys, we made it through WEEK ONE of the Donald Trump first criminal trial (of FOUR) in New York. For those not keeping up, this is the Election Interference trial related to hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels and other related crimes. It was a ROLLER COASTER of a week.
After a slow start in jury selection, we actually got out entire jury seated by Thursday!
And we were able to seat the remaining 6 alternates by mid-day on Friday!
There were reports of Trump falling asleep and farting in court.
President Biden’s campaign jumped on this, labeling Trump “Sleepy Don” in a news release saying he had a “nightmare week” that included getting “some shut-eye.”
Court itself was not without fireworks.
