Columbus Parker Track Club (CPTC) celebrated the team’s success at its annual dinner banquet Saturday, Aug. 29 at A.R. Rucker Middle School, according to a CPTC press release. Each track member there introduced him or herself and gave a brief speech about the team and what it meant to them. Guest speaker Bobby Bailey motivated the team members by telling them to never give up – whether it’s competing on the track, or seeking their life goals. Bailey also encouraged parents to be involved in the community.
