Owner Mark Cuban has done a commendable job of biting his tongue this season with regard to officiating, but he couldn’t hold back any longer Friday night after the Mavericks’ 94-76 loss to San Antonio. Cuban said a season-long trend of non-calls on Monta Ellis has simply gotten to epidemic proportions. “What set me off was Monta’s drive to the basket, where he got hit in the face, (Tim) Duncan got his body lower and his hands were down and (referee) Monty McCutchen said he was straight up and down,” Cuban said, referring to a defender’s position when contact is made with a shooter.Read more on NewsOK.com
