On Wednesday, Multnomah County Chairwoman Deborah Kafoury announced that she had asked Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum's office to conduct a possible criminal investigation into Multnomah County Sheriff Dan Staton's alleged conduct. On Friday, Kafoury sent a letter confirming the request -- and the letter also was signed by District Atttorney Rod Underhill.
