Damascus Resident Argues That Requiring 'supermajority' To Disincorporate Violated Elections Law

Damascus resident Chris Hawes is challenging the city officials' interpretation of state law that governs disincorporation elections. Hawes asked Clackamas County Circuit Court Judge Deanne Darling to invalidate the election results and call for a new election, with different rules to judge the results.
