Metro Denver remains popular with renters across the country looking to relocate. But two out of three renters already here say they see their future in a different city, according to an Apartment List study released Tuesday. For those who expect to leave metro Denver over the next five years, a lack of affordability was the top reason cited for moving at 48.4 percent, followed by better job opportunities at 21.6 percent and the weather at 4.4 percent. Nationally, 64 percent of the 24,000 renters Apartment List surveyed expect to leave their current metro area in the next five years.
