Denver Mayor Michael Hancock extended his stay-at-home order to combat the spread of the coronavirus, which has killed 16 people in the city. “I know this isn’t easy, but given the current data and advice from experts about the spread of COVID-19 these are the actions that will get us on the other side of this curve and protect our health,” Hancock wrote on Twitter.
