The Broncos’ organized team activity format will have a different look when the team starts practicing Tuesday at Dove Valley. “I’ve designed to practice where I’ve added reps from last year to ensure that every player gets equal reps (regardless) if you’re a 1, 2 or 3 (on the depth chart),” coach Vance Joseph said. To Joseph’s point, many of the expected Week 1 starters won’t be on the field more than the backups, but they will be watching more as the coaching staff uses the extra plays to evaluate the back of the roster. On offense, it means more on-field time for quarterbacks Paxton Lynch and Chad Kelly plus rookies like fourth-round receiver DaeSean Hamilton and undrafted tailback Phillip Lindsay. On defense, it means on-field time for rookies like fourth-round linebacker Josey Jewell and undrafted linebacker Jeff Holland. The Broncos will have 10 OTA workouts, which are voluntary and do not involve contact.
