EA is set to announce its latest Battlefield title later today but may have revealed its name a little earlier than planned. This year's entry will be called Battlefield 5, according to a Tweet from EA Access. Surprise. The account for EA's digital game subscription service replied to a follower asking when Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline had been added to the vault of games available to Access customers."It was a surprise for members to celebrate the Battlefield 5 event tomorrow," it replied. This won't come as a surprise to many, given the game is being developed by DICE, which usually handles the core, numbered entries in the series. However, there was some speculation that the series could return to the Bad Company spin-off seires, or eschew the trend of futuristic warfare in favour of something like Battlefield 1943.Battlefield 5 will be fully unveiled at 4 PM ET/9 PM BST, when EA will provide "a first look at the future of Battlefield" on its Twitch page.
