EasyJet recently announced plans to trial a new hybrid hydrogen plane. The aviation company claims that although their passengers’ carbon footprint is already 22 percent lower than those who travel on a traditional airline, the new plane, if successful, could drastically decrease fossil fuel consumption. Don’t get too excited though – the planes will still need to use jet fuel whilst in the air.
