Ebay Rolls Out Curated Shopping Feature

eBay is jumping into the personalized shopping game with the debut of eBay Interests, a recommendation service that curates product ideas for shoppers based on their browsing patterns and preferences. Although the online marketplace is still thought of by many as a bidding site for used goods, eBay says more than 80 percent of merchandise sold on its site is new, and 88 percent is sold “Buy It Now” with no bidding necessary.
