Edgewell Chairman Klein To Retire

Edgewell Personal Care Co. announced Friday that Ward Klein plans to retire as the company's executive chairman and to leave the board, effective July 6. Chesterfield-based Edgewell's board named Edgwell's president and CEO, David Hatfield, to succeed Klein as chairman while retaining his other posts. Edgewell, whose brands include Schick, Wilkinson Sword and Playtex, was spun off from Energizer Holdings last year. Klein served a combined 37 years with Edgewell and Energizer (NYSE: ENR).
