Restaurants in El Paso County can restart indoor dining service immediately after the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment granted a variance request made by the county’s public health department. El Paso County Public Health was notified of CDPHE’s approval, under specific guidelines, late Saturday night. As part of the variance, restaurants are required to limit indoor seating to 50% capacity and ensure a minimum of 28 square feet per person in order to maintain six feet of social distancing.
