A Commerce City man who was caught trying to solicit a child for sex in an undercover operation has been sentenced to probation and six years of deferred prison time. Daniel Goodfield, 40, pleaded guilty to patronizing a prostituted child, soliciting for child prostitution and soliciting or attempting a cybercrime, all felonies, after contacting Larimer County Sheriff’s Office investigators who had posed as underaged sex workers online. Goodfield negotiated to have sex with two girls, including a 14-year-old, and was arrested in March when he traveled to a hotel in Larimer County, the office said in a news release.
