Ex-dea: Obama Sued Over Immigration, Why Not Pot?

WASHINGTON — Every former U.S. drug enforcement administrator is calling on the Obama administration to come out against California's marijuana legalization effort with the same force it brought against Arizona's illegal immigration crackdown. An Aug. 24 letter to Attorney General Eric Holder from all nine former DEA administrators raises questions about when the administration should wade into debates over state laws.
