Exhibit Continues Through Friday At City Hall

From Staff ReportsPhotographs and stories illustrating the experiences of 25 women from northeast Oklahoma City is on display through Friday on the second floor of City Hall, 200 N Walker. The free exhibit, called the Women of Northeast Oklahoma City Photovoice Project, illustrates how neighborhood conditions impact Oklahoma City residents' safety and their day-to-day enjoyment of the areas in which they live, according to a news release. “Participating in this project was a chance to give back to my community and not just talk about change, but be a pivotal agent in the change of northeast Oklahoma City,” exhibit contributor and city employee Tiffani Sanders said. “I want those who visit the exhibit to learn, see, hear, relate and empathize with the stories these women told through photographs and writings.” The exhibit is sponsored by the University of Oklahoma College of Architecture and the OU Humanities Forum.Read more on NewsOK.com
