A stolen digital copy of The Expendables 3 has reportedly been downloaded over a million times since leaking onto the Internet, well ahead of the Sylvester Stallone-starring action film's August 15 debut. And now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate filed a lawsuit in a California federal court Thursday over the leak, suing "John Does 1-10." The studio became aware of the theft of the high-quality copy of the action flick July 24, with Lionsgate claiming that all pirated downloads come from this stolen source. Lionsgate's lawsuit reportedly goes after the operators behind several torrent sites and "uses language that's similar to past mass 'Doe' complaints against torrent users."
