Fatal Wreck On I-85 Near Belmont

(By Steve Lyttle, slyttle@charlotteobserver.com) One person was killed in a single-vehicle wreck Tuesday morning on Interstate 85, near Belmont in eastern Gaston County.The N.C. Highway Patrol says the wreck happened about 6:15 a.m. on the southbound side of I-85, at Exit 26.
