More than seven years after Hurricane Katrina, a federal judge in New Orleans has given his final approval to a $42.6 million settlement of a class-action lawsuit alleging that travel trailers provided by the federal government as temporary housing emitted hazardous levels of the toxic chemical formaldehyde.
