The "Talladega Nights" and "Step Brothers" team of Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly and director Adam McKay are set to come together again for the comedy "Border Guards" at Sony Pictures. McKay is potentially directing the film in which Ferrell and Reilly play two hapless but earnest friends who decide to give purpose to their lives by protecting America's borders from illegal immigrants. In the process they find themselves accidentally stranded in Mexico without identification and must sneak back into the United States. British TV scribe Jesse Armstrong ("Fresh Meat," "Babylon") penned the script while Ferrell, McKay, and Kevin Messick are producing. Source: Deadline
