Fewer Houston Law Students Pass Bar Exam

A smaller percentage of law students from the University of Houston, Texas Southern University and the South Texas College of Law passed the Texas Bar Examination in February than previously, as nearly every law school in the state saw pass rates slip. According to statistics released this week by the State of Texas, 78 percent of South Texas students and 77 percent UH students passed the 2 1/2-day long exam, conducted in February.
