GREEN: Green Local Schools’ budget may be in the red in fiscal year 2021, school board members learned at their Monday night meeting.Eydie Snowberger, the district’s treasurer and chief financial officer, made the prediction while giving board members the highlights of a state-mandated five-year financial forecast.Projecting revenue this year at $38.8 million and expenses at $37.3 million, Snowberger said the district is expected to remain in the black until a deficit of $2,528,466 is likely during the 2021 fiscal year which will begin July 1, 2020.An $8,694,670 carryover is anticipated this fiscal year, which began July 1.Snowberger said that student enrollment has remained almost flat since 2005 when there were 4,120 students.
