Flexible Fitness: Group Exercise Can Help Parkinson’s Patients

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological condition that causes a wide range of symptoms due to the loss of brain cells that produce dopamine. The loss of these cells impairs the brain’s ability to tell the muscles what to do. The main symptoms that lead to a diagnosis of PD are tremors, slow movements, muscle stiffness and imbalance.
