Ford, Chrysler See A Mixed Second Quarter

Both companies report rising sales, but Ford Motor Co. says profits fell about 8% compared with the same period last year as the automaker paid off debt and invested in new vehicles. Chrysler Group has a net loss of $370 million as it repaid government bailout loans.U.S automakers Ford and Chrysler saw decreasing profit but rising sales during the second quarter of 2011.
