Forget Gold, This Precious Metal Is Going Crazy Amid The Stock Slump

(Bloomberg) — Gold just got left behind by one of its sister metals. After a demand-fueled rally over the past four months that’s seen prices hit successive records, palladium topped gold. Palladium, which hasn’t traded at a sustained premium to gold in 16 years, has gained as buyers scramble for supplies of the metal used in vehicle smog-control devices.

    TikTok is officially under investigation by the EU and that means everything that goes with it, including the company's spinoff app, TikTok Lite. And on Wednesday, the Commission gave TikTok 24 hours to come up with a risk assessment specifically on TikTok Lite, one it says should have been done before launch in the EU.
