The New Jersey Bureau of Securities Wednesday ordered Trolice Consulting Services LLC and its president, former Alpine resident James R. Trolice, to pay a $2.5 million civil penalty after finding that Trolice and his company engaged in a scheme to sell more than $3.6 million in unregistered securities to more than 170 investors, at least 111 of whom lived in New Jersey.
