AURORA — A former Colorado code enforcement officer is serving probation for six months for soliciting two prostitutes last year. The Aurora Sentinel reported Monday that former Aurora Code Enforcement Officer Paul Thorne pleaded guilty March 6 to one misdemeanor count of soliciting prostitution. The district attorney's office says Thorne will also have to complete 60 hours of community service. Police say Thorne had called the prostitutes last December while he was on duty and was wearing a body camera during their testing phase in the department.
