A former El Paso County sheriff's deputy and district attorney's investigator who molested a young boy will avoid prison under a plea bargain. Donald Leigh Fair, 45, pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust, averting a July trial. Speaking in a subdued voice, Fair admitted that he subjected a young boy to "sexual contact," naming the victim in open court.
