Former Lackawanna Officer Can’t Claim Self Defense In Fatal Shooting

A Lackawanna County judge ruled a former Carbondale police officer charged with fatally shooting an unarmed man cannot claim self defense, but can argue he was justified in using deadly force in his role as a police officer. Judge Terrence Nealon’s ruling
