Trey Hillman, a former director of player development with the Texas Rangers, closed a two-year managerial run in the Korea Baseball Organization with a championship.Hillman's SK Wyverns defeated the Doosan Bears, 5-4 in 13 innings, on Monday to take the Korean Series championship in six games. It was the club's first title since 2011.Hillman also won the Japan Series as manager with the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters in 2006.Hillman said near the end of the regular season that he would resign after the playoffs and return to Texas to be with his parents, both of whom are having health issues.
