A prequel to the 1976 supernatural horror classic The Omen is in development at 20th Century Fox. According to The Hollywood Reporter, indie filmmaker Antonio Campos is currently in negotiations to direct the film, which will be titled The First Omen. Ben Jacoby penned the script and David Goyer is on board to produce via Phantom Four Films. The Omen tells the story of an American ambassador who believes his son, Damien, may be the Antichrist.
