Freddie Mac Seeks $1.5 Billion From Taxpayers

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Mortgage finance giant Freddie Mac FMCC.OB said on Monday it would ask for an additional $1.5 billion from taxpayers due to losses stemming from the weak housing market.
