George R.R. Martin has spoken up about the fan's backlash following the final season of Game of Thrones, saying that it will not alter any of his plans for the final two books in A Song of Ice and Fire. Speaking to EW, Martin confirmed that there is a "certain degree of temptation" to want to change the ending following an outcry that even led to a petition to re-do the final season.
