Georgetown Offering Preventive Antibiotics To Close Friends Of Meningitis Victim

Georgetown University is offering antibiotics to students who came in close contact with Andrea Jaime, a sophomore who died of meningitis on Tuesday, to prevent others from developing the illness. In an email to students and staff on Thursday night, administrators wrote that no additional cases of meningitis other than Jaime’s had been identified.
