A new state program is now accepting applications for up to $10,000 in 2-for-1 matching funds for storm-hardening improvements. But you'd better hurry. The Division of Financial Services expects 140,000 to 150,000 applicants and only enough funds for 11,000 to 12,000 grants. They'll be approved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
