An exultant San Francisco Giants president Larry Baer thanked the fans early Thursday and marveled at his team’s third World Series, saying the team never gave up — and “we’re not done.” Fresh off a plane from Kansas City, Baer was met with cheers from fans as buses arrived with the team at AT&T Park. Baer said the three wins were “equally wonderful, but doing it a third time, people think that there’s a special thing going on in this clubhouse, and I think there is, and a lot of these guys now will have multiple championships.” “I think everybody in there just is appreciative of the experience this year in bringing it to San Frnacisco, especially to the fans who sold out this ballpark over and over again all year,” he said. Of all three championship wins, “the common denominator is they just never give up, that there’s a culture here,” Baer said.
