Golden State Warriors president and COO Rick Welts will be honored by GLAAD at the national LGBT anti-defamation group's annual San Francisco awards ceremony on Sept. 13. Welts will receive the group's Davidson/Valentini award presented to an LGBT media professional for making a difference in promoting equality.
