By PRESTON JONES By the time Cheyenne Kimball was 17, she was a music-industry veteran. Kimball, born in North Carolina and raised in Frisco, won the first season of the short-lived TV competition America’s Most Talented Kid in 2003 at the age of 12. Three years later, she released her solo debut, The Day Has Come, on Epic Records and spent eight episodes on MTV as the focus of the reality show Cheyenne (she also briefly dated eventual American Idol finalist, and fellow North Texan, Jason Castro).
