The impact of the internet on college newspapers was evident in a dramatic way Tuesday as The Daily Tar Heel at UNC-Chapel Hill became the latest student paper to slash print editions. The DTH, now in its 123 rd year, is dropping Tuesday editions this year. The decision comes the same year The Chronicle at Duke is cutting to three days a week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
