TIVERTON, R.I. — A Boston-area man was rescued from the water off Fogland Beach in Tiverton on Saturday afternoon after his kayak filled with water and then sank.Captain Bruce Reimels of the Tiverton Fire Department said a good Samaritan paddled out to the man, lent him his life jacket and stayed with him until the fire department's boat arrived around noon.
