CBS used Super Bowl 50 to confirm that the current seventh season of its long running drama "The Good Wife" will be its last with the series finale to air on Sunday May 8th. The confirmation follows weeks of speculation that the show would be over following comments made by star Julianna Margulies who indicated she would leave at the end of the current season along with showrunners Robert and Michelle King. There was talk that the show might do a half-sized eighth season to wrap things up, but it looks like things will end at seven - something the show runners have commented about for years as their ultimate plan.
