Google Engineer Told Others Of Data Scoop

PROVIDENCE — Health insurers in Rhode Island are seeking double-digit increases in the premiums that individuals and small businesses will pay for coverage next year, the largest increases in years, as the federal health care law takes full effect.    

TOKYO — Japan’s All Nippon Airways, the launch customer for Boeing’s 787 ‘‘Dreamliner,’’ will resume commercial flights of the aircraft on Sunday, just over four months after the jets were grounded due to smoldering batteries.    

The run-up in stock prices this year could tempt even the most hands-off investor to wade into their 401(k) and make some changes.    

Norwood’s Analog Devices Inc. recently disclosed the pricing of senior unsecured notes of about $500 million. The bonds carry a rate of 2.875 percent and are due to mature in 2023. Analog said it intends to use a portion of the net proceeds to fund the redemption of its 5.00 percent senior unsecured notes due 2014. The semiconductor maker also said it intends to use remaining proceeds for general corporate purposes, which may include stock repurchases or acquisitions.    

Abercrombie & Fitch shares fell the most in nine months after the teen retailer reduced its annual profit forecast and said comparable-store sales would be lower for the rest of the year. Earnings per share for fiscal 2013 will be $3.15 to $3.25, down from a previous projection of $3.35 to $3.45, New Albany, Ohio-based Abercrombie said. Comparable-store sales will be “slightly down” for the rest of the year. The net loss in the first quarter narrowed to $7.2 million, or 9 cents a share.
