Google has confirmed leasing 140,000 square feet of office space at 215 Fremont St., the longtime home of Charles Schwab, and plans to occupy the space later this year, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. The new Transbay district office could hold nearly 1,000 workers, though Google has yet to disclose its plans for the building. The expansion is the fourth for the company in less than a year.
